Director's Biography

Farzad Motamen

Born in 1957, Tehran, he went to the United States in 1975 and studied liberal arts. He returned to Iran during the peak of revolution in 1979 and started to make an 8mm film about the events. Making documentary had become his career since 1985 and he made 30 till 1988. His first fiction film in 20 minutes was made in 1999 called " Three not so easy pieces". " Seven Acts " is his first feature.
